We were excited when our favorite unicorns at Alto asked us to help create a holiday film for Montefiore. Not only because the idea of a genre film seemed fun, but because we’ve managed to help create a strong family of work for the Bronx-based Montefiore over the years, and want to keep building it. The film was written with the Velvet Underground track in mind. Derek Cianfrance managed to craft what we feel is a tender but cool, magical yet grounded, emotional film with just the right amount of nostalgia. An urban holiday tale.
